Ingredients

  • Pulmuone Kimchi
  • Zucchini, battered and stir-fried
  • Fried egg
  • Pickled radish
  • Seasoned bean sprouts
  • Oi muchim – spicy cucumber salad
  • Spinach, blanched
  • Eggplant, steamed
  • Fernbrake, stir-fried
  • Marinated ramen egg
  • Seaweed snack
  • Carrots, julienned and lightly sautéed
  • Shiitake mushrooms, sliced and lightly sautéed
  • Rolled egg omelet
  • Cucumber, julienned
  • Fried lotus root
  • Spicy radish salad
  • Korean radish
  • Gochugaru
  • Minced garlic
  • Grated ginger
  • Fish sauce
  • Sugar
  • Scallions
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 lb Korean radish
  • Small carrot
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp gochugaru

Directions

Stovetop (Best Method)

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the rice and vegetables to the pan with 2–3 tablespoons of water.

  3. Stir and cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through.

  4. Add the gochujang sauce and mix well.

  5. Cook for 1–2 more minutes, stirring until everything is evenly coated.

Microwave (Quick Option)

  1. Place the rice and vegetables in a microwave-safe bowl.

  2. Add 2–3 tablespoons of water.

  3. Microwave on high for 3–4 minutes.

  4. Stir in the gochujang sauce, mix well, and heat for another 30–60 seconds if needed.

Tip: Top with a fried egg, sesame oil, or extra green onions for a classic Korean bibimbap finish
